Some photos to back up what I wrote :)

Miss J's arrival to the USA
 Zip line time!
 Rock climbing
J with some of her medals for swimming
 Skating time!
Isn't she beautiful?

I often have people make comments about how brave she is, that they can't believe she is doing the things she is doing, etc. I hate those type of comments because as well meaning as they are, it limits her.   It puts her in a box that has "blind girl" written all over it. Our littles do these things all of the time too and I never receive similar comments on their pictures. I  know what our daughter is capable of and we want her to experience the world. We don't allow for things that hold her back, only things that move her forward. If we can do it, she can. We may have to get creative but that's the fun part! We work with her to trust us and we wouldn't put her in a situation to hurt her. She has grown to realize this, and has got really good with listening to us when we embark on new adventures. We know her limits and capabilities.
